Lightweight knee coverage that actively cools, pulls moisture from the skin, and provides UV protection for summer cycling. UV radiation is a constant and very real issue for cyclists, but insulating knee coverage is undesirable in the heat of summer, to say the least. Our Knee Foil is a solution to both issues, actively cooling and pulling moisture from the skin while providing UPF protection. BEHIND THE PRODUCT The MILLE GT Ultraz Winter Bib Tights are constructed with an arsenal of winterproof textiles to deliver unmatched levels of insulation, breathability, and weather resistance. We built upon the highly insulating platform that’s used in our standard Winter Bib Tights but then added a second layer to the exterior for more protection. Since weather can come from all sides, we charted 360º protection and comfort to ensure that the element-facing section of your legs and glutes remains protected from snow, rain, wind, and low temperatures, while the backs of the legs benefit from added breathability and comfort in this high-flex zone. To boost the Ultraz Bib Tights’ performance, we’ve pre-shaped and sewn the fabric panels to fully wrap and support the upper leg muscles, knees, and calves while in motion, where they flex with each pedal stroke.

Bib tights engineered with flexible insulation and our signature MILLE Insert to ensure comfortable support in challenging winter conditions. Warmth, flexibility, protection, and support topped our list of must-haves when we began developing the Winter Bib Tights, and each attribute needed to pair with our refined, low-bulk regularFit platform. We made them lightly compressive where they need to be, but not as tight as our racingFit design. The fabric panels flex with each pedal stroke, as they're both pre-shaped and sewn to fully wrap and support the upper leg muscles, knees, and calves while in motion. RX Heavy makes up the majority of the paneling. This brushed warp-knit fabric is a beefed-up version of our workhorse RX, featuring an ECO water-repellent treatment for further protection from light precipitation. Its lighter-weight sibling, RX Light, is an asymmetrical-stretch warp-knit fabric that provides light insulation and boosts comfort in high-flex areas. The fit falls into our regularFit category, optimized for total comfort in the riding position, and with a more relaxed cut than our second skin racingFit.

The ideal sock for demanding rides in warmer climates, where breathability and targeted support are most crucial. To create an ultralight sock that’s as comfortable as it is supportive, Assos took a hard look at the yarns themselves. Testing in warm-weather conditions eventually led to Hydrogen, a buttery-soft microfiber that’s blended with Lycra to deliver a light compressive hold along the foot, ankle, and lower leg using a seamless construction. From there they targeted the arch, wrapping it with a ribbed band of airy mesh for further support and boosted breathability, along with a contrasting band along the Achilles for a clean finish.

The staple for riding in the transitional seasons, provides mid-level insulation and light padding without erasing bar feel. In the age of smart trainers and social training simulators, many of us spend winters training indoors. The Spring Fall Gloves are a bellwether for that approach, maintaining warmth and dry, breathable comfort in cool-to-cold conditions and, when conditions exceed their insulating capacity, letting us know when it's time to retire to the pain cave for winter. An ultralight summer base layer featuring a seamless design and carbon yarns to keep your core cool, dry, and comfortable in balmy conditions. We're constantly refining the first-layer platform in the name of greater moisture management and overall comfort. Such is the case with the new Skin Layer family, taking the baton from our Skinfoils with much lighter designs, refined constructions, and better-performing fiber blends. We've lowered the SS Skin Layer's weight by roughly 25% compared to its Skinfoil predecessor and used a tubular knit technology that's free of irritating side seams. A new blend of carbon and polypropylene yarns have been strategically arranged to manage moisture much better than previous iterations, resulting in a breathable, antibacterial short-sleeved first layer that keeps you cool and dry from the base up. The Circular Seamless construction introduces a tubular knit that's free of side seams, creating an ultrasoft, comfortable feel against the body. The sleeves are sewn directly into the armhole to promote a full range of motion beneath additional layers.

Extreme, insulated protection for extreme weather, the Ultraz Glove is the ultimate platform for weatherproof cycling when time off the bike isn't an option. When the conditions are extreme in high summer or deepest, coldest winter, cycling equipment is either equally extreme or it's useless. Compared to the standard Winter gloves, the Ultraz model adds a neoprene cuff and an insulating lining to a more robust softshell material, boosting heat retention behind the breathable, weatherproof exterior. Winter cycling can be a peaceful, meditative experience, but only if you're properly equipped. Airblock is a more robust softshell than that used in our standard winter glove, increasing insulation while maintaining breathability and wind- and waterproof protection. Insulated winter-weight gloves will never fit like summer gloves, but our anatomic cut reduces bunching and bulk while still accommodating sub layers. Extended cuff prevents gaps between glove and sleeve.
